Desire is the key to accomplishment.

Many fail to achieve any worthwhile feats in life because they lack the desire to pursue and fight for their God-ordained destiny.
Suicide – Physical or spiritual – occurs, most often because people lose the desire to live.
Yet, many succeed tremendously out of their fervent desire to be all that they were created to be.
Which of the above applies to you?

The dictionary defines Desire as “a strong feeling of wanting to have something or wish for something to happen” it is synonymous with the word ‘aspiration’
No matter what you lose, fight to keep your desire.

Desire is the fuel that runs the engine of any vision if it is to be fulfilled. Lack of desire leads to a shipwreck of vision. Perhaps you are running out of desire today, let me encourage you with the word of God…

Psalm 145:19 ESV: “He fulfills the desire of those who fear him; he also hears their cry and saves. them

A lady shared her story with me and I’d like to share it with you for your inspiration…
She had suddenly fallen terribly sick and in a coma in the hospital for a few months. The report from the doctors was devastating to her family and it seemed there was no hope in sight for her restoration. She recounted her experience to me a few months after her ordeal: While in a state of coma, she could hear the adverse report concerning her…instead of discouragement…something happened in her heart…it was an ardent resolve that with the meager strength she had left in her body and the buoyant strength of her inner man, she was going to live and not die…the devil would not steal, kill or destroy her life, she was going to fight…and she did!
She began to pray fervently in her spirit, communing with God for days and weeks when she couldn’t communicate with people and the testimony for your encouragement is that, in the end, she won and she is alive today!!!

Adverse circumstances do have a way of draining out our desire but we also must purpose in our hearts to fight to keep our desire burning and fulfill our God given destiny.
God is depending on each of us to allow Him to breathe into every dry part of our lives so that we may be of use to Him and to mankind.

Romans 8:19 – For the earnest hope of the creatures waits for the manifestation of the sons of God.

So, do not despair, no matter what comes your way, you can handle it as long as your desire endures.

Psalm 37:4 – Delight yourself in the Lord and He will give you the desires of your heart.

Aspire for greatness and you will achieve it!
