Kairos in Ancient Greek is defined as “The right or opportune time”
Another definition of Kairos, from Greek origin, is: The instant when an opening appears which must be driven through with force if success is to be achieved.

A successful young lady told me she was once asked: “Seems like you suddenly came into the limelight…where had you been all this time?”

The truth is that no one makes a sudden arrival on the stage called life. What such individual is enjoying is Kairos timing.
God has designed a Kairos time for each of us.
Our Kairos time is our time, in time, to shine, to make our mark in the sands of time and to fulfill God’s purpose and design for our lives.

When a man or woman is walking in their Kairos time, The spotlight is on them, things come together for them and extraordinary feats become easier to achieve. They are remembered by God and man and they are helped. Of course, I am referring to the faithful person who is putting in the necessary effort required for success yet success has somehow eluded him or her.

The game changer is a divine enablement or what is referred to as “Favor”
Queen Esther, in the bible (read the book of Esther) was such a person who came into her Kairos timing and her life never remained the same.
If you ask such people, they may tell you they did not do anything different to achieve that moment. The difference is that favor has positioned them in their Kairos moment and they are now flourishing.

Psalm 102:13 NIV – You will arise and have compassion on Zion, for it is time to show favor to her; the appointed time has come.

God sets our Kairos moment.
Perhaps you have been waiting for so long for things to come together for you and you have been faithful in giving your endeavors your best…it is time to apply ‘the force of prayer’… ask God, just like the psalmist did in the above scripture; to show you His favor and cause your Kairos moment to come.
